F.A.Q.        Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make more than one item?
There is no limit to how many items you can make. After the image is complete and once you proceed to the shopping cart, you may return to UCustomizeit.com from the link that says ‘go back and make more stuff’.

How do I use my coupon?
Once you complete the image and proceed to the shopping cart, Enter your coupon code in the field that says ‘Coupon Code :’.

What if I have to stop in the middle of making something?
You can stop anywhere in the process for as long as you want, but if you close the browser window or turn off the computer, you will lose the information which you entered and you will have to start over again.

Can I save my work?
Not currently. But UCustomizeit.com is in the process of making this a possibility.

What if I just want to make a print from my computer?
Choose the size of the print - either under Prints (medium size) or Poster (large size), Then choose ‘one divide’ under portrait or landscape, depending on your picture's format.

Can any picture be uploaded to this site?
Any picture that has the file extension .jpg (Joint Photographic Group) or .png (Portable Network Graphic).

What if I would like to have my site linked?
If you would like to be a partner or affiliate of UCustomizeIt.com, get in touch with us through one for the methods on our ‘Contact Us’ page.

Do I have to start at the beginning every time I want to make something?
Yes. The first step of the process is to choose the product. It is the product which determines the actual size (physical dimension) of the layout.

What if I don't like what I made?
Don't worry. Just make a new layout.

Here are some tips:
  1. From the preview page click ‘back’ and switch the smart layout from that which is chosen to the option which is free. Smart Layout does not guarantee the best image, but in most cases it helps.
  2. Consider changing the layout of the picture being used if you are using pictures. Sometimes a layout type picture fits better, sometimes a portrait type picture fits better.
  3. Try using a border of the same color as the background. If you're not using a background, choose a white border. This adds a ‘padding’ effect to the final layout.

Can I use my own pictures?
Yes. When it is time to ‘set up your divide’ choose ‘Picture from your PC’. On the following page click ‘browse’. A new window will open. Go to the location of the picture, select it, and click ‘open’. The file path will show in the ‘upload’ field.
