About Us The Stiff Corporate Story We worked hard for two years using big deal technology and developing new on demand printing software - bla bla bla. Our software is easier to use then most other big cumbersome packages. Our on demand system allows a customer to design products themselves, looking and saying exactly the what the customer wants - in a cost effective manner. Our large printing facility in Georgia gives the customer a one-day turn around on most orders - Bla Bla Bla. No setup fees, no long wait times and complete freedom to make what you want when you want it. Honestly, I hate writing these so I'm going to skip the rest for now but I promise once we get investors we will have a big serious story for all of you to read. The Real story Well heck - it is all about us after all isn't it? UcustomizeIt.com was created by a truly brilliant group of people from the company General Transformation Inc. This “Gang of Four” started when Christine Fiorillo needed an easy way to make big posters to motivate people around her office. We have all seen those posters; some really inspiring words and a great picture - but Chris wanted her own words and pictures - she wanted to customize it! Well, she stumbled onto this guy Daniel deGrazia who had some startup experience in the computer industry. Dan thought that a lot of people would like to do what Chris wanted to do and they would want to print their own customized stuff on things other then just posters. So General Transformation Inc. was born! (Why the name? More on that later.) So, with Chris listing all the cool things she would want the software to do, Dan set out to find a developer or two to design and build it. The developers had to be smart, fast and have lots of Internet development and operations experience. But most of all they had to work cheap (in fact free would be perfect). Dan remembered an equally brilliant software engineer, Richard Dammkoehler, whom he had worked with at past startups. Rich is a combat developer who has designed and built several websites, some of them in a matter of weeks. Based on wildly exaggerated promises of untold riches and lots of free Mountain Dew, Rich started development of the Server side system. However the three of them still had one problem. They had only the skeleton of an idea, and even less desire, to develop the look and feel of the website. When all else fails enroll a family member! Hiding in Sweden is Nick Fiorillo who runs a small web development and hosting company. Using the usual ploys one uses when begging a family member to help out, Chris got Nick to do some development work from Sweden. Family members are all suckers for the big deer eyed lip tremble. So - Two years later GTI launched UcustomizeIt.com! We have the first completely web based personalized on demand printing site!
